Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae are two of the most common sexually transmitted infections and therefore, a sensitive detection is commonly requested. For quality assurance, a regular control of the diagnostic test procedure is mandatory. Due to the fact that common quality assessment schemes are not optimal for RNA-based detection platforms, we offer external quality assessment (EQA) panels for the nucleic acid detection of Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae for use on the HOLOGIC Panther® and Tigris® System.
